Data Deletion Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

IDEA GROUP OF TECHNOLOGIES (PRIVATE) LIMITED respects your right to privacy and the "Right to be Forgotten". This policy outlines the procedures by which our clients and their end-users can request the permanent deletion of their personal and corporate data from our servers, APIs, and databases. This policy is fully compliant with international privacy standards and Meta's Platform Data Deletion requirements.

2. What Data Can Be Deleted?

Upon a verified request, we will delete the following data points:

  • API access logs and webhook transmission history.
  • Customer contact lists and phone numbers stored temporarily for broadcasting.
  • IVR voice logs and recorded routing configurations.
  • Account profile details (excluding billing invoices required for tax purposes).

3. Step-by-Step Deletion Request Process

To initiate a data deletion request, please follow this official procedure:

  1. Submit a Request: Send a formal email to admin@ideagroup.tech using the subject line: "Urgent: Data Deletion Request - [Your Company Name]".
  2. Verification: Our compliance team will respond within 48 hours to verify the authenticity of the request to prevent unauthorized data removal.
  3. Execution: Once verified, our database administrators will permanently purge the requested data from all active PostgreSQL/Node.js servers and redundant cloud backups.
  4. Confirmation: You will receive a final "Certificate of Data Deletion" email within 7 to 14 business days confirming the complete erasure of your data.

4. Exemptions and Legal Retention

Please note that we may be legally required to retain certain financial, billing, and contractual data for a period of up to 10 years to comply with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) auditing guidelines. Such retained data is strictly isolated and not used for any operational processing.
