Data deletion instructions
These instructions are for an authorized business administrator or user who wants IDEA to disconnect a Meta account and identify, delete or anonymize applicable IDEA-controlled data.
Email admin@ideagroup.tech from the business administrator's address with the subject “Meta data deletion request”. Include the business or workspace name, account email and the connected WABA ID or business phone number so IDEA can locate the correct records.
IDEA will verify that the requester is authorized for the business and confirm whether the request covers an account, workspace, messages, contacts, media, Meta-connected identifiers or the complete service relationship. This verification protects the business and its customers from unauthorized deletion.
After verification, IDEA will disconnect the requested Meta connection and delete or anonymize applicable IDEA-controlled records. Data required for billing, security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, provider rules or another person's rights may be retained only for the required period.
IDEA will acknowledge a verified request, provide a tracking reference and confirm completion or explain any lawful restriction. Complex or provider-dependent requests may take longer, and IDEA will communicate the status through the verified contact channel.
Do not email a password, OTP, recovery code, access token, app secret, payment-card data or private customer message content. IDEA will ask only for bounded identifiers needed to verify and locate the account.
Where applicable, you may also remove the app from Facebook Settings under Apps and Websites. Removing access stops future access but does not replace a deletion request for records IDEA must separately identify, remove or lawfully retain.
